This policy explains what the Save Any Page Chrome extension and the saveany.page website do with your data. Save Any Page is operated by Embertide Studio.

In short

• No account, no sign-up, no email required.
• Full-page export runs entirely on your device and is never uploaded.
• Page text leaves your device only when you click an AI action, and only to create that result. We do not store page content.
• We do not sell data, show ads, or use analytics or tracking in the extension or on this website.

What stays on your device

Your history of results, your language setting and a cached credit balance are stored with Chrome’s extension storage on your computer. Full-page screenshots are captured, stitched and converted to PNG or PDF locally. You can delete history at any time with “Clear history”, or remove everything by uninstalling the extension.

What is sent when you use an AI action

When you click Summarize, Summary card, Condensed document or Mind map, the extension sends the page title, the page address, the visible text of the page (up to about 12,000 characters), your chosen output language and a random install ID to our API server (hosted on Cloudflare). The server forwards the page text to an AI model provider — currently DeepSeek — to generate the result, returns it to you, and does not keep the page content. The AI provider processes the text under its own terms.

What we store on our server

• A random install ID created by the extension (not linked to your name or email).
• Your credit balance.
• Usage records: which AI action ran, when, whether it succeeded, and token counts — used for billing and abuse prevention. Page content is not included.
• Payment records: the Stripe checkout ID, amount and credits added.

Payments

Purchases are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe may collect your email address for the receipt and processes payment data under the Stripe Privacy Policy.

Permissions the extension uses

• activeTab and scripting: to read the page you are on — only after you click the extension icon on that page.
• storage: to keep your history and settings on your device.
• sidePanel: to show the extension next to the page.

Children

Save Any Page is not directed to children under 13.

Your choices

You can stop all data sharing by not using the AI actions — full-page export works offline from our servers. To ask about or delete server records, email hello@davidyin.dev.
